Additionally the premium money has been used for the following:

• Building teachers houses in the school grounds in order to attract educators.
• Digging of a number of bore holes. Solar generated pumps have been purchased in order to make the bore holes sustainable.
• Building of houses for vulnerable families and building of bridges.
• Providing bursaries for 200 children in the community, who otherwise would not be able to afford to go to school.
• Setting up adult literacy and education programmes.
• Subsidizing farm inputs like fertilizers and assisting farmers in establishing their own nurseries.
